Enrollment

We encourage early enrollment because spaces fill quickly. Our current enrollment has four groups of three-year-olds and five groups of young fours and Pre-K's. The children are grouped by date of birth; thus the class configuration may change from year to year.

REGISTRATION
Fall registration begins the second week in January for the following term. The first week of registration will be for First Presbyterian Church members and currently enrolled children and their siblings. Registration will then open to the public the next week and will remain open until the enrollment is full. All questions concerning enrollment can be directed to the pre-school office.

TUITION
A non-refundable, pre-registration fee will be collected at the time of registration . Monthly payments are based on the number of days enrolled and the hours of attendance. Tuition is based on the fee charged for the year and is paid in ten equal installments. Monthly tuition is due on the first of each month. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed for payment made after the seventh of the month. A child may be withdrawn from the program if the tuition becomes more than one month delinquent. Special arrangements may be made with the director under certain circumstances. There are NO deductions for absences or holidays for any reason. A $15.00 service charge will be collected for all returned checks.

CHILDREN'S RECORDS
All information in your child's file must be up to date at all times. It is very important to inform us immediately of address, phone number or emergency contact changes. As your child receives his/her immunizations, medical records must be updated as well. We will receive visits from our HRS monitor throughout the year to ensure all files are complete and up to date.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
It is a Florida law that all children attending pre-school have a current Florida health certificate and immunization certification on file in the pre-school.

Although accidents do occur, children in the pre-school program are expected to be toilet trained.

A child who is ill should not be in school. Medication will not be administered at school under any circumstances. In case of a serious accident or medical emergency, we will contact 911 and the parents immediately. The 911 response will determine the seriousness of the situation and the course of action to be taken.
